Top Kiwanis international official visits Issaquah club

President of Kiwanis Club International, Sylvester Neal, was recently in Issaquah for the Kiwanis Club of Issaquah weekly luncheon.

Kiwanis International is a global organization of members of every age who are dedicated to changing the world, one child and one community at a time.

Kiwanis clubs, located in 80 nations, help their communities in countless ways. Service is at the heart of every Kiwanis Club, no matter where in the world it’s located. Members stage nearly 150,000 service projects and raise nearly $107 million every year for communities, families and projects.

The Kiwanis Club of Issaquah has been serving our community since 1929. The club provides financial support to dozens of eastside nonprofits, and sponsors additional service clubs such as Key Clubs for high school students and the Aktion Club for disabled adults.

Anyone is welcome to attend the club’s weekly luncheon at Gibson Hall, 105 Newport Way S.W. in Issaquah each Wednesday at noon. Learn more at www.issaquah.kiwanis.org.
