IHOP has no tricks, and only treats, for children Friday.
The pancake chain offers a free Scary Face Pancake to children 12 and younger from 7 a.m. – 10 p.m. Friday.
The promotion is part of a national No Tricks – Just Treats program to provide a safe and fun Halloween event for children. Find the Issaquah IHOP at 1433 N.W. Sammamish Road.
The design-your-own Scary Face Pancake includes a buttermilk pancake sporting a whipped topping mouth and a strawberry nose, plus mini Oreos and candy corn for kids to customize a Halloween hotcake.
The seasonal pancake is a Halloween play on the popular Funny Face Pancake. In a nationwide Name IHOP’s Scary Face Pancake contest, the winner named the hotcake Count Spatula.
