King County Elections continues to count ballots until the Nov. 2 election is certified next week.

Voters with signature issues on returned ballots can resolve the issues through Nov. 22. The county Canvassing Board is scheduled to certify the election results Nov. 23.

If a voter has a question about signature issues, he or she can contact the elections office at 206-296-8683. Voters can track mail ballots and determine if a ballot has been counted here.

“Voters who had a signature issue associated with their ballots have been contacted by the elections department and we encourage them to follow up if they have not already done so,” Elections Director Sherril Huff said in a statement. “These voters may also be contacted by representatives from other organizations that want to encourage them to resolve their signature problem so that their votes will be processed as part of this election. The list of voters who have signature issues is a matter of public record and this is not an uncommon practice.”
