Issaquah Community Center, pool reopen for drop-in visits

Issaquah residents suffering from cabin fever amid the cold can drop in at the Issaquah Community Center and Julius Boehm Pool until 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Both facilities close Thursday for Thanksgiving.

The city Parks & Recreation Department also canceled all recreation programs scheduled for Wednesday.

Officials canceled all Issaquah Municipal Court hearings scheduled for Wednesday.

The judge is not issuing bench warrants if defendants fail to appear. The court is to remain open for regular business hours.

The city Human Services Commission meeting scheduled for Wednesday night has been canceled. Officials also canceled the Dec. 22 meeting. The commission meets next at 6 p.m. Dec. 15.

Issaquah School District administrators canceled school for Wednesday, the last scheduled school day before the Thanksgiving holiday.

Despite the closures elsewhere, the show is set to go on at Village Theatre in downtown Issaquah. The performance of “Anne of Green Gables” is still scheduled for 8 p.m.
