Criminals on the move stole a U-Haul truck in the 1800 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard on Sunday, Issaquah police investigators said Tuesday.
Inside the U-Haul, a person had placed household belongings, plus several rifles, handguns and ammunition. The contents included 1,200 Australian silver coins dated from 2000 and 2008.
The truck is a a 2011 Ford E-450, featuring a van-like cab and a 20 foot attached box. ”Mom’s Attic” is emblazoned along the side of the box. The truck features graphics of a Viking ship and the words “Minnesota #136 Venture Across America” splashed along the side.
Police said the truck disappeared between 1:30-8:50 p.m. Sunday. People with information about the case should call the Issaquah Police Department at 837-3200.
