MSU student honored
Kyle Fenn, a 2007 graduate from Liberty High School, earned a place on the dean’s list for the fall 2010 semester at Montana State University as one of the top students in the liberal studies program.
Last spring, Fenn earned an AAS degree in aviation from MSU’s College of Technology and is currently an instructor pilot while working toward his bachelor of arts degree.
Local students honored at Whitworth University
The following Whitworth University Students have been named to the Whitworth University Laureate Society for fall semester 2010.
Bellevue: James King and Kathryn Olleman
Issaquah: Lauren Loudon
The students qualified for the academic honors society by maintaining a grade point average of at least 3.75 during the semester.
Student gets legal internship
Sean Peterson, of Issaquah, was awarded a legal internship in Washington, D.C., for the coming summer.
Peterson, the son of Jim and Linda Peterson, of Issaquah, is a second-year law student and a graduate of Skyline High School and University of Washington.
Local students make deans’ lists
Justin Spicer, of Issaquah, was recently named to the Ball State University dean’s list for the fall 2010 quarter. To qualify, undergraduates must earn at least a 3.5 grade point average for 12 or more credits of graded course work during a semester or for six or more credits of graded course work during a summer term.
The following students made the Seattle Pacific University 2010 autumn quarter dean’s list. To qualify, students must complete at least 12 credits and attained a 3.5 or higher grade point average.
