Issaquah students serve as legislative pages

Students ages 14-17 are eligible to serve as a legislative page in the state House or Senate, where for one week, they deliver messages for lawmakers and learn first hand about the democratic process

Scout earns Eagle rank

Sam Hendrickson’s Eagle Court of Honor was Feb. 27.

He has been a member of Troop709 since 2006. For his Eagle Scout project, Hendrickson constructed a massive log bench in Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park.

The troop is supported by Issaquah Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3436.
