Participants in the annual Salmon Days geoteaming hunt Sept. 24 take a break from scavenging to eat outside the Issaquah Brewhouse. By Pauline Middlehurst
About 150 people enjoyed two fun-filled hours roaming the streets of Issaquah with their families, friends and co-workers in search of treasures during the Salmon Days high-tech geoteaming scavenger hunt.
Participants navigated Issaquah using a hand-held GPS unit, map and clue sheet to locate cache sites. Each cache site had a point value to accumulate a team score. Some very competitive teams even ran the entire course.
