Motorists, landowners, employers and others using a high-traffic corridor along Interstate 90 can review ideas for the area Tuesday.

Bellevue planners host a public open house about proposed land-use and transportation changes in the Eastgate area from 4-6 p.m. The open house is at the Robinswood House Cabana, 2430 148th Ave. S.E., Bellevue. The presentation starts at 4:30 p.m.

The open house is a chance to learn more about emerging land-use and transportation plan intended to guide growth in Bellevue’s interstate corridor during the next 20 years.

Participants can listen to the presentation, ask questions and offer ideas for the future of the corridor before a final plan is recommended to the Bellevue City Council.

The corridor serves as a key residential, education, travel and employment center, and is home to almost 20 percent of Bellevue’s workforce.
