Former Issaquah guard hits seven treys

Former Issaquah High School basketball standout Alyssa Shoji scored a season-high 25 points Dec. 22 to help the Santa Clara University women’s basketball team defeat Sacramento State, 96-76.
Shoji, a senior, hit seven of nine 3-point shots. She needs just five more 3-pointers to set the school record for 3-point field goals.
In addition to her shooting, Shoji had eight assists.
