Issaquah student works to ban bottled water on college campus
Collin Morris, of Issaquah, recently co-produced a short documentary, “Tap That,” about the dangers of bottled water.
He has been sharing his views on public radio at Linfield College, in McMinnville, Ore., and is working to get the product banned from schools across the Pacific Northwest.

Alexis J. Guches makes CCU dean’s list
Alexis J. Guches, of Sammamish, was named to the dean’s list at Coastal Caroline University, in Conway, S.C.
To qualify, freshmen must earn a 3.25 grade point average, and upperclassmen must earn a 3.5 grade point average.
Andrew Hankey named to GU’s honors list
Andrew Hankey, of Sammamish, was recently named to the honors list for the fall 2011 quarter at Graceland University, in Lamoni, Iowa.
To qualify, students must earn between a 3.65 and 3.99 grade point average.
Local students make EWU dean’s list
The following local students were named to the dean’s list at Eastern Washington University for the fall 2011 quarter. To qualify, students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or better while taking 12 hours of classes.

Local students make Whitworth Laureate Society
The following local students have been named to the fall semester 2011 Whitworth University Laureate Society in Spokane. To qualify, students must maintain at least a 3.75 grade point average during the semester.
