Customers can listen to the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra — and sip some java — Wednesday at a Starbucks in Issaquah.
The orchestra is scheduled to play at the Starbucks in the Meadows complex, 1460 N.W. Gilman Blvd., Suite K1, from 6-8 p.m. The coffee shop often features live music.
See the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra’s String Ensemble led by alumna and coach Angie McConkey, and the Woodwind Quartet led by coach Yuh-Pey Lin.
In 2008, the Bellevue Youth Symphony Orchestra started the group Debut East to better serve students in the Issaquah community.
The orchestra, a nonprofit organization, is the largest and longest-running youth music performance organization on the Eastside.
The venue debuted late last year as the only Starbucks to serve beer and wine in a suburban setting.
