Anneliese Chamberlain

Anneliese H. Chamberlain, of Issaquah, passed away peacefully May 4, 2012, at home. She was 71 years of age.

Anneliese was born Feb. 14, 1941, in Hof, Germany, the daughter of Adolf and Christiane Hering. She was raised and graduated from high school in Hof.

She worked in sales for a large department store in Hof until 1964, when she married Douglas on June 18, 1964. They moved numerous times with his career in the United States Air Force. In 1980, he retired from the military and they moved to Issaquah.

Survivors include her loving husband Douglas; two sons Hans and James; daughter Vicki Patel; brother Adolf Hering; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service is at 11 a.m. May 11, at Flintoft’s Issaquah Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah. A reception will follow.
