Jurors answered 22 interrogatories in Issaquah police inquest

Jurors answered a series of 22 questions, or interrogatories, in the inquest into the September death of Ronald W. Ficker.

Jurors could answer yes, no or unknown. The six-member jury ruled unanimously on all 22 questions.

1) Did the Issaquah Police Department receive a series of 911 calls during the late morning hours of Sept. 24, 2011, reporting that a man, later identified as Ronald Ficker, abandoned his vehicle on a public road in the city of Issaquah and was seen removing two rifles from the trunk of the vehicle?

2) If yes, did police radio broadcast that Ronald Ficker was seen loading the rifles he was carrying?

3) Did police radio broadcast that Ronald Ficker was traveling on foot toward Issaquah High School and pointed his rifle at several citizens?

4) Did police radio broadcast that Ronald Ficker fired his weapon at a Liberty High School cross country coach?

5) Did Issaquah Police Department officers Laura Asbell, Brian Horn, Christian Muñoz and Jesse Petersen respond to Clark Elementary School?

6) Was Ronald Ficker armed with two rifles when officers arrived at Clark Elementary School?

8) Did officers Asbell, Horn, Muñoz and Petersen point their service rifles at Ronald Ficker?

9) Did the officers repeatedly order Ronald Ficker to drop his weapon?

11) Did Ronald Ficker point his rifle at any of the officers?

14) Did Officer Brian Horn fire his service rifle at Ronald Ficker on Sept. 24, 2011?

15) Did Officer Christian Muñoz fire his service rifle at Ronald Ficker on Sept. 24, 2011?

16) Did Officer Jesse Petersen fire his service rifle at Ronald Ficker on Sept. 24, 2011?

17) Did Officer Laura Asbell believe that Ronald Ficker posed an imminent threat of serious physical harm to herself or others at the time she fired her weapon?

18) Did Officer Brian Horn believe that Ronald Ficker posed an imminent threat of serious physical harm to himself or others at the time she fired her weapon?

19) Did Officer Christian Muñoz believe that Ronald Ficker posed an imminent threat of serious physical harm to himself or others at the time she fired her weapon?

20) Did Officer Jesse Petersen believe that Ronald Ficker posed an imminent threat of serious physical harm to himself or others at the time she fired her weapon?

21) Did Ronald William Ficker die King County, Wash., on Sept. 24, 2011?

22) Did gunshot wounds from any of the guns of officers Asbell, Horn, Muñoz or Petersen cause the life-ending injury(ies) to Ronald Ficker?
