Cold storage
Burglars stole items from storage units at Public Storage, 23025 N.E. Eighth St., before 5:40 a.m. May 24. Police said the men wore heavy clothing and gloves. The thefts impacted Issaquah, Redmond and Sammamish residents.
Volkswagen vandalized
A window was damaged on a Volkswagen parked in the 800 block of Lake Drive before 10:30 a.m. May 24.
Logout
A Sammamish business owner allowed unauthorized access to the business’ computers after a person called the business May 25 and claimed to be from Microsoft. The caller told the business owner the system received many error reports and needed to be remotely accessed for fixes. Though the owner was skeptical, the caller provided proper identification information for the computer. The caller accessed the computer’s files and then directed the business owner to Microsoft’s website to purchase Windows 7. The business owner already had the operating system installed. Suspicious, the business owner terminated the call and unplugged the computer.
A low-down, dirty shame
Cleaning supplies, a blanket, first aid kit, lantern and sunglasses were stolen from a Honda parked in the 5000 block of Northwest Village Park Drive before 10:56 a.m. May 25.
What the yell?
Police responded to suspicious activity in the 1400 block of 11th Avenue Northwest at 4:17 p.m. May 25 after a woman yelled at the caller. The officer explained to the caller that no crime had occurred.
Assault
Police arrested a 41-year-old Seattle man for assault in the 1700 block of 10th Avenue Northwest at 10:47 p.m. May 25.

A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle parked in the 18500 block of Southeast Newport Way before 9:36 a.m. May 26.
Naked city
A window was damaged on a Nissan parked in the 18500 block of Southeast Newport Way before 12:35 p.m. May 26. Clothing was stolen. The estimated loss is $400.
Bombs away!
Police responded to possible malicious mischief in the 800 block of Third Avenue Northwest at 2:38 p.m. May 26 after a woman noticed a strange substance on her vehicle. The officer noticed the vehicle was covered in a large amount of bird droppings. The officer helped the owner wash the droppings from her vehicle.
Trapped
Police responded to the 100 block of Mount Olympus Drive Southwest and the Upper Hillside Cemetery at 8:08 p.m. May 26 to unlock the gate for a woman stuck inside the cemetery.
Drugs
Police arrested a 25-year-old Seattle woman for possession of drug paraphernalia in the 600 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard at 11:56 p.m. May 26.
Driving under the influence
Police arrested a 60-year-old Seattle man for driving under the influence in the 100 block of Front Street South at 1:01 a.m. May 27.
Assault
Police arrested a 21-year-old Issaquah man for assault in the 200 block of Northwest Cherry Place at 2:08 p.m. May 27.
Supermarket sweep
Groceries were stolen from Fred Meyer, 6100 E. Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E., at 3:23 p.m. May 27. The estimated loss is $20.
Stuck
Police responded to the 300 block of West Sunset Way and the Hillside Cemetery at 8:21 p.m. May 27 to unlock the gate for a person stuck inside the cemetery.
Assault
Police arrested a 45-year-old Issaquah woman for assault in the 1800 block of 16th Avenue Northeast at 12:27 a.m. May 28.
Arrest
Police arrested a 27-year-old North Bend man on a warrant in the 1800 block of 15th Place Northwest at 4:16 p.m. May 28.
Arrest
Police arrested a 50-year-old Issaquah man on a warrant in the 100 block of Front Street North at 8:58 p.m. May 28.
Subaru smashed
The hood of a Subaru parked in the 900 block of Northeast High Street was damaged before 9:31 p.m. May 28. The estimated loss is $200.
Arrest
Police arrested a 21-year-old Sammamish man in the 100 block of Front Street North at 12:06 a.m. May 29 for driving with a suspended license and without a valid ignition interlock, and for operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
Tool trouble
A steering column was damaged on a Toyota parked in the 100 block of Southeast Clark Street before 4:23 p.m. May 29. Tools were also stolen from the vehicle. The estimated loss is $550.
Yard, overworked
Gas containers, a lawn mower and a Weed Eater were stolen from a garage in the 100 block of Southeast Bush Street before 7:19 a.m. May 30. The estimated loss is $159.
In the bag
A laptop computer bag and iPod were stolen in the 500 block of Alpine Ridge Place Northwest before 9:52 a.m. May 30. The estimated loss is $120.
Defaced
Police discovered graffiti at East Lake Sammamish Parkway Southeast and Southeast 62nd Street at 1:22 p.m. May 30. The estimated cost to remove the graffiti is $77.50.
Infiniti and beyond
An Infiniti was stolen in the 1600 block of Northwest Gilman Boulevard before 7:42 a.m. May 31. The estimated loss is $15,000.
Special delivery
A resident in the 400 block of 208th Avenue Northeast said he found a pair of duffel bags containing drug paraphernalia in his backyard June 3.
