The coffee titan Starbucks rolled out a different sort of buzz in recent days — Starbucks Refreshers, a fruit-based energy drink.
Come Friday, customers can try the drinks — in flavors Cool Lime or Very Berry Hibiscus — from noon to 3 p.m.
Starbucks operates standalone stores in the Issaquah area in the Meadows complex, 1460 N.W. Gilman Blvd., Suite K1; at East Lake Center, 6170 E. Lake Sammamish Parkway S.E.; and at Pine Lake Village, 340 228 Ave. N.E.
The ingredients include green coffee extract and fruit juice served over ice. Blackberries dot the Very Berry Hibiscus flavor. Lime slices bob in the Cool Lime flavor.

Tastes like weak tea with fruit flavor. I dislike tea, but love coffee, strong.
