Local students honored
Emma O’Melia, of Issaquah, has been named to the spring 2012 second honors dean’s list at Clark University in Worcester, Mass. To be eligible students must have a grade point average between 3.5 and 3.79, of a maximum of 4.3.
Collin Morris, of Issaquah, was named to the spring semester dean’s list at Linfield College, in McMinnville, Ore. To qualify, students must complete 12 graded credits and be in the top 10 percent of their class.
Taylor Newbury, of Newcastle, and Stephen Okamoto, of Issaquah, were named to the spring 2012 dean’s list at Azusa Pacific University, in Azusa, Calif. To qualify, students must have a grade point average of 3.5 or above.
Emily Bradford, of Newcastle, was named to the spring 2012 quarter dean’s list at Central Washington University.
Students graduate from Columbia College Chicago
The following local students graduated from Columbia College Chicago in May:
Issaquah: Andrew Napier, Bachelor of Arts in music
Sammamish: Caroline Tommey, Bachelor of Arts in fiction writing; and Kathleen Boudwin, Bachelor of Fine Arts in illustration
