By Staff

Providence Marianwood, in Issaquah, is adding beds to serve patients transitioning from a hospital to their homes.

The facility has expanded from 29 to 57 transitional care beds, an increase to 50 percent of the building.

Operated by Providence Health & Services, Marianwood is the only not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in the Issaquah/Sammamish area. Learn more at www.providencemarianwood.org.

The move to increase transitional care beds came from an increase in demand for short-stay, post-hospitalization skilled nursing and rehabilitation.
