Sammamish Library hosts creative writing workshop

Participate in the creative writing workshop “Writes of Passage,” with writer Vicky Edmonds, featured in “Chicken Soup for the Soul,” at 10 a.m. Sept. 8 at the Sammamish Library, 801 221st Ave. S.E., Sammamish.

Learn to take risks, look within and express feelings and emotions through poetry and other written forms of expression. Open to all ages, but best experienced by fourth-graders to senior citizens.

Bring a pad and pen. Although the event is free, space is limited, so RSVP by emailing lpshome@comcast.net. Learn more by calling 427-5478.
