Local leaders offered a glimpse at human services needs in Issaquah and the Issaquah School District in the inaugural King County Equity and Social Justice report.

The report shows the county is increasingly diverse, with more than 100 languages spoken countywide. Data also highlights the graduation rate in the Issaquah School District.

“It’s a basic American ideal that personal success should be based upon merit — talent, drive, determination — not upon race, or class or ZIP code,” King County Executive Constantine said in a statement.
