Pamela Joan Weber
September 25, 2012
Pamela Joan Weber, of Issaquah, passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at the young age of 47.
Pam was born Jan. 5, 1965, in Minneapolis, and was raised in Wayzata, Minn. Pam attended Blake High School and Gustavus Adolphus College, and graduated from St. Bens College.
After moving to Issaquah with her family in 1996, she was an active member in the PTA and very proud to have received the prestigious Acorn award as a PTA officer while her beloved son Mackenzie attended Challenger Elementary School in the Issaquah School District. Pam was also an active member of her PEO chapter, a philanthropic organization providing educational opportunities for women.
In spite of her many challenges with diabetes that she fought so courageously, Pam felt she was blessed. Pam really connected with people, and many of the kids she knew considered her a second mother. She truly appreciated all the support and companionship from her many friends from Bunko, PEO and lifetime friendships back home, and loved to spend time with all of them.
She enjoyed baking, crafts, adored her puppy doodles Wally, and loved going to Lake Chelan every summer, and probably most of all just dinkin’ around on Saturdays with her dear friend Lisa Huffer. She was extremely excited to swim with the dolphins in Hawaii on her 47th birthday, as well as go zip lining.
Pam was preceded in death by her brother Todd; her brother David, who donated his kidney to Pam and gave her 16 great years of life; and her father Rod.
She is survived by her loving son Mackenzie, husband Michael, mother Pat Baxter, godmother Mae Anderson, brother-in-law Del Bishop, sisters-in-law Pat Bishop and Deb Baxter, niece Emily Baxter, and nephews Ben Baxter and Colin Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Chapter IP, PEO, c/o Marilyn Rawe, 24229 S.E. 47th St., Issaquah, WA 98029.
