Student graduates from Gonzaga
Chelsea Stone, of Sammamish, recently graduated from Gonzaga University with a biology degree.
This fall, Stone will pursue a master’s degree in public health from Drexel University, in Philadelphia. The Issaquah High School graduate is the daughter John Stone and Patti Enos, of Sammamish.
Local students make deans’ lists
Isabelle Chu, a freshman majoring in cell and developmental biology, has been named to the spring 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of Rochester in Rochester, N.Y. Chu, the daughter of Lawrence and Janet Chu, is a graduate of Issaquah High School.
Andrew Garrett, of Sammamish, was named to the spring 2012 dean’s list for the College of Visual and Performing Arts at Syracuse University, in Syracuse, N.Y.
Hannah Thomasy, of Issaquah, was recently named to the dean’s list at Colgate University, in Hamilton, N.Y. To be eligible, students must earn a 3.3 grade point average or higher while enrolled in four courses. Thomasy is studying neuroscience, sociology and anthropology.
Area students make OSU honor roll
The following local students made the scholastic honor roll for the summer 2012 semester at Oregon State University, in Corvallis, Ore. To qualify, students must earn a 3.5 grade point average or higher.
