The Issaquah Parks & Recreation Department attracts a horde of nearly 600 districtwide middle school students Oct. 12 at the first of their five dances at the Issaquah Community Center. Ear-splitting pop music, strobes, disco mirror balls and multicolored light bars presented a wild and kinetic atmosphere for young people to dance and socialize in. By Greg Farrar/The Issaquah Press
