The Council of Education Facility Planners International has awarded the Issaquah High School campus its Project of Distinction/New Construction honor. Issaquah joins five other new schools from around the globe to be recognized.

CEFPI was established in 1921 to advocate for excellence in student-learning environments. The Project of Distinction is given to exceptional and inspiring school buildings that engage the community in a sense of ownership, support a variety of learning styles and methods, and demonstrate sustainability.

Learn more about the award at www.cefpi.org. Under “Programs & Events” click on “Award Programs” and then click on “CEPI Exhibition of Public Planning & Architecture.” To find Issaquah High School, click on “Past Year Winners” and then “2012 Winners.”
