Trails Club Dog Hike
Picture 1 of 15
Not all members of the Issaquah Alps Trails Club are of the two-footed kind, with about three hikes a month being scheduled for dogs to join with their owners. The most recent hike, held Jan. 11, was a foray amid fresh snow on a sunny day from a Southeast Tiger Mountain trailhead at state Route 18. Here, Abby the beagle leads the way for Tom Morio of Bellevue, Dick Amidei with Murphy the terrier mix, and other hikers on a four-mile hike with a 700-foot elevation gain. Way to go hikers! The snow looks like fun.
Snow looks so wonderful. 76 here today on NC coast.
Wow – you have such a famous dog! Looks like you had lots of snow.
Murphy is adorable and almost the color of the snow, glad he didn’t get lost! It looks like Dick was in his element, but I do not understand the appeal, especially with the snow! (Do the bugs still bother you in the forest this time of the year?) Thanks for sharing – signed a city girl.
