Police arrested a 30-year-old Sammamish man for drug possession and on a felony warrant during a traffic stop in the 4400 block of Issaquah-Pine Lake Road Southeast at about 2:30 p.m. Dec. 31. He told the officer he did not have his driver’s license with him, and provided a false name, though the name he provided the officer had a suspended driver’s license. The officer arrested him, and during a search, police found the man’s real license, along with a pill bottle containing more than 100 pills of various narcotics, a glass pipe with methamphetamine residue on it and almost $1,000 in cash.

Sick and tired

A Sammamish woman told police somebody had been posing as her and accruing medical expenses in California before Jan. 3. The resident recently relocated to Sammamish from the Golden State, and noticed the suspicious activity when she received a $900 bill for a California emergency room visit.
