Wendi Marie Hitchings

Wendi Marie Hitchings passed away peacefully in her home on Squak Mountain on Jan. 4, 2013.

Wendi was born Dec. 11, 1960, in Longview, to John and Diane Robinson.

She married Steve Hitchings on Dec. 11, 1986, and together they raised their children Alina, Ellie and Mason, and stepdaughter Jennifer.

Wendi was an autism champion, entrepreneur, lifelong Girl Scout leader and supermom to all those she took under her wing. She will be greatly missed by many.

A celebration of Wendi’s life will be held Jan. 26.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Girl Scout Troop No. 50121, P.O. Box 2935, Issaquah, WA 98027-0133.

I remember Wendy as a smiling, laughing and involved mother as she and I met at various events through the years. She had a special style – always beautiful. Love to the family – I know how much she loved her children. Imelda Dulcich
