Community network hosts video contest

The Issaquah Community Network’s Drug Free Community Coalition asks students to show their peers how to resist the temptation of underage alcohol, marijuana and prescription drug use through a short video contest.

The contest is open to any public, private or home-schooled middle or high school student living within the Issaquah School District boundaries. Entries are due Feb. 28 and a viewing party will take place April 2 at Tibbetts Creek Manor, 750 17th Ave. N.W.

A grand prize of $800 will go the contest winner, thanks to a special partnership between the Issaquah Community Network and the Rotary Club of Issaquah. Video contest rules and entry forms are posted on the group’s website,
