Environment Washington will host an evening meet-and-greet featuring solar energy advocates, installers and legislators on March 7.

The group has a goal of putting up 150,000 solar roofs in Washington by 2020, moving the state toward a clean and renewable energy future.

Attendees can learn how to obtain and install solar panels and acquire insight into what’s being done to advance solar energy in the state at the event.

The Issaquah meet-and-greet goes from 5-7 p.m. March 7 at the Issaquah Brewhouse, 35 W. Sunset Way.
