Boost school programs by buying milk

April 2, 2013

By Staff

Dairy Farmers of Washington, along with Jacksons food stores, will donate 5 percent of one gallon milk sales to help fund Apple Educational Products.

All public elementary schools in Issaquah will be entered into a drawing to receive money toward the purchase of iPad learning centers, which include iPads, apps and etextbooks.

The Milk Builds Strong Schools program runs through May 28 when a winning school will be randomly drawn.

Every gallon of milk purchased from any of the three Jacksons food stores in Issaquah will help close the gap between the budget and actual cost, giving the winning school a chance to buy equipment that will enhance their students’ education.
