As part of the Issaquah Farmers Market on May 4, the city will host the 14th annual Hobby and Volunteer Expo.

From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Pickering Barn, local area nonprofits and volunteer organizations will have information and opportunities available for interested citizens.

Groups such as AARP, Cascade Mountain Men, Eastside Baby Corner, Eastside Friends of Seniors, Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery, Issaquah Parks & Recreation, King County Noxious Weed Program, Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust, Songea’s Kids and Issaquah Meals will be present to answer questions and spread awareness of their needs.

There is still room for organizations to take part in the search for volunteers. It’s free of charge to participate. Email for more information.
