Liberty hires new girls basketball coach

Liberty High School has hired Curtis Terry as the girls basketball coach.

Terry comes to Liberty after serving as an assistant at Auburn Riverside. He played basketball at UNLV and spent time in the NBA Developmental League. He also played for teams overseas.

Terry said in a statement he is excited at the opportunity to develop his own program and “create a legacy” for the team, school and community.

Terry, who replaces Randy Leifer, is a 2004 graduate of Curtis High School in University Place.
