Collin Morris stars in ‘Spring Awakening’

Collin Morris, of Issaquah, participating in the Linfield College Theatre production, “Spring Awakening,” May 9-11 at Linfield College, in McMinnville, Ore.

Morris, a senior majoring in political science, played the role of Melchior.

Morris, the son of Keesha Ewers and Rick Morris of Issaquah, is a 2009 graduate of Liberty High School.

Sammamish resident named to dean’s list

Andrew Garrett, of Sammamish, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2012 quarter at Syracuse University.

Garrett is enrolled in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. To be named to the dean’s list, students must have a 3.4 or higher grade point average for the semester.


Local student earns master’s from WSU

Michael Johnson, of Issaquah, will receive his Master of Science in electrical engineering from Washington State University in May.

Johnson, the son of Donna and David Johnson of Issaquah, graduated from Issaquah High School in 2007.


Student to graduate at top of her class

Lisa Flotlin, of Issaquah, will graduate in June from Central Washington University.

Flotlin, a 2008 Skyline High School graduate, is in the top 10 percent of all College of Business graduates, and was selected to receive the 2013 Business Administration Outstanding Student Award.
