Prepare for parking changes at farmers market

May 21, 2013

For shoppers headed to the Issaquah Farmers Market this spring and summer, a change in parking is on the horizon, according to a press release from the city.

Starting May 25, the current market parking area behind Pickering Barn will close for the remainder of the market season while Costco Wholesale builds a parking structure there.

Shoppers can instead park in the Pickering Place parking lot that is closest to the Regal Issaquah 9 movie theater, 1490 N.W. 11th Ave.

Portable signage will direct shoppers to 16 handicap-accessible parking spaces closer to Pickering Barn.

As a reminder to farmers market shoppers, parking at the Costco warehouse, or the Costco Wholesale corporate buildings, is not allowed.
