Liberty students awarded National Merit scholarships

Nine students from Liberty High School who took the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test in October 2012 met the program requirements to enter the 2014 National Merit Scholarship Program.

Each of the students is among 50,000 highest-scoring participants of 1.5 million program entrants and has shown outstanding academic potential, according to a press release from Liberty High School.

The students were offered the opportunity to be referred to U.S. colleges and universities. The students are Neil Chakravarty, Cassandra Cox, Olaf Grette, Alyssa Nanney, Galen Posch, Aditya Seshadri, Austin Sivret, Eric Spradling and Jeremy Stroming.
