Teen Fest is June 14

June 11, 2013

By Staff

Teenagers from around the region will descend on the Sammamish Commons June 14 for the annual Teenfest.

The day will kick off with a competition for skaters ages 13-20. Registration for the competition begins at 2 p.m., and the competition runs from 3:30-6:30 p.m.

Helmets are required to compete.

As the skate contest winds down, the bands will start up.

Instead of an established local band performing this year, there will be a handful of lesser-known acts in a battle of the bands.

Area bands Galaxy, Vehicle Collector, Sterotype Nation, Jessica Domingo and Company, Scinite and Sleepy Heights take the stage between 6 and 9 p.m.

Teenfest is free to enter, but there is a fee to participate in the skate competition; $5 for residents and $10 for nonresidents.
