Front Street North from Sunset Way to Gilman Boulevard will be closed tomorrow from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. for the Fenders on Front Street car show.

Thousands of visitors stroll down Front Street to admire hundreds of vintage and classic cars, according to the Fenders on Front Street website.

It will be a fun-filled Father’s Day event with participants coming from across the state to show their cars. There will be live music, family activities, a trophy and award ceremony with MC Lance Lambert, and an afternoon cruise to the Triple XXX Rootbeer Drive-in.

Registration for the show starts at 6 a.m. at the Triple XXX and the Hailstone Feed Store.

Vehicles will start parking at the Triple XXX, then park along the Staples parking lot to Front Street North, and then along Front Street North toward Sunset Way, according to a news release from the city.

Starting at 3 p.m., car show participants will gather along Front Street North and cruise along West Sunset Way to Newport Way Northwest to Gilman Boulevard.

In addition to the car show and cruise, DJs will play music at the Triple XXX and the Hailstone Feed Store throughout the day. Up to four food trucks will serve food on the north end of Front Street North near Staples parking lot.

Fenders on Front Street attendees are asked to donate at the event to local nonprofit organizations Life Enrichment Options and Art With Heart. Organizers expect up to 10,000 people to attend the show, which is scheduled rain or shine.
