Hope on the Hill Guild will have its third annual Raise the Dough benefit for Seattle Children’s on June 18 at Zeeks Pizza in the Issaquah Highlands.

The event will also receive a portion of sales from Ben & Jerry’s, also in the Issaquah Highlands, according to a press release from Hope on the Hill Guild.

Twenty percent of the day’s sales — including dine-in, take-out and delivery from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. — will be donated to the hospital’s uncompensated care program, allowing children to receive world-class medical treatment, regardless of their family’s ability to pay.

Last year, with the help of organizations such as Hope on the Hill Guild, Seattle Children’s provided more than $103 million in uncompensated care to families in need.

Mark Mullet, owner of Zeeks and Ben & Jerry’s, has been a partner for the event for three years in a row.

“Seattle Children’s saved my life,” Mullet said.

At 18 months old, Mullet suffered third-degree burns when reaching for a pot of boiling water. He spent three months healing at Seattle Children’s and attributes his recovery to the excellent medical care he received there.

Zeeks will accept pre-orders online or by calling 425-893-TOGO.

Donations can also be sent to
Hope on the Hill Guild, c/o Kathy Pisut, 1782 11th Ave. N.E., Issaquah, WA 98029.
