Saturday golf tournament supports mitochondrial research guild

NEW — 6 p.m. June 21, 2013

Issaquah resident Weston Mui is hosting the second annual Cure for Mito Golf Tournament on June 22.

Registration begins at 11:30 a.m. and the tournament will begin at 1 p.m. at Heron Links golf course, 10402 Willows Road Northeast, Redmond.

Mui’s neighbor, 5 year-old Calvin Bertsch, has mitochondrial disease and spends a significant amount of his life at Seattle Children’s. Mui is hosting the golf tournament in honor of Bertsch.

The cost is a minimum donation of $55 per player with 100 percent of the proceeds benefiting the Seattle Children’s Hospital Mitochondrial Research Guild.
