Local artist hosts ‘Road Trip’ reception

While on the road driving his car or motorcycle, Issaquah artist Ricco DiStefano said he absorbs his feelings of the moment and later paints them in his studio.

DiStefano hosts a reception from 5-7 p.m. June 29 at the Marymount Event Center, 325 152nd St. E., Tacoma. DiStefano’s work will be on display there until July 4.

DiStefano said he wants his paintings to take viewers to another place, and feel movement and animation in his work. He also wants to provoke thought and inspiration through his work.
