King County to move services from Sammamish to Issaquah

NEW — 6 a.m. June 27, 2013

King County will move the service center in Sammamish City Hall to the Issaquah District Court in July.

County services, such as marriage licenses, passports, pet licenses, payment of property taxes, etc., that had been located in Sammamish City Hall for years.

The city had provided space to the county for free, but the county wanted to relocate to its own building, according to a press release from the city of Sammamish. The final day in Sammamish is today.

The center will reopen in Issaquah on July 10. It will be open Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:40 p.m.

The Issaquah District Court is at 5415 220th Ave. S.E.

Sammamish will continue to offer its own passport services from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
