Submit your ‘wondrous story’ for exhibition

July 2, 2013

By Staff

ArtEAST is accepting submissions for “Wondrous Stories,” a narrative art exhibition.

Submission deadline is midnight July 17.

Narrative art is a visual form of storytelling. The artwork itself does not need to include words, but all artists are asked to submit a brief, written explanation of their story, according to a press release from artEAST. Stories told may be a brief moment in time or years in the making. Events taking place over time may be compressed in a single image.

Get guidelines and a submission form at http://arteast.org/2013/05/call-wondrous-stories. The exhibit is from Sept. 13 to Oct. 19, with an opening reception from 6-8 p.m. Sept. 13.
