Learn about FISH plans for aquarium July 26

July 23, 2013

By Staff

Volunteer organization Friends of the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery will host an informational and fundraising meeting July 26.

In an attempt to outline a newly launched project, FISH invites the public to learn about replacing the aquarium exhibit in the entrance to the hatchery.

The organization envisions a more in-depth and natural habitat that will give visitors a greater understanding of the salmon life cycle. There will also be an update on the city’s Issaquah Creek dam renovation presented by Surface Water Manager Kerry Ritland.

The fundraiser is at 6 p.m. at the hatchery, 125 W. Sunset Way. Donate at www.issaquahfish.org/get-involved.
