Phyllis passed away June 28, 2013, in Renton.

Phyllis was born in Seattle to Maurice Conway and Garland Taylor in 1926. She had a twin brother Phillip. The family moved to Issaquah around 1930. Her father was a seafaring man and not seen around Issaquah very much. Phyllis had five brothers and one sister. Later, Phyllis married Lester Howard. A daughter and son, Linda Leslie and Neal, were born. Phyllis divorced Lester Howard and later married Joseph Chevalier and they had a son, Richard. Phyllis worked at the Red and White Grocery and The Grange Store, both in Issaquah. Later, she worked at The Boeing Co. for many years. Having divorced Joseph Chevalier she married Marvin Olmstead. She moved to Renton in 1968.

There was a funeral service July 11 at Flintoft’s Funeral Home, 540 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah, followed by a committal service at Greenwood Memorial Park, Renton.
