Issaquah schools are holding two surplus sales, starting Monday

The Issaquah School District is holding two surplus sales on a variety of equipment, books, furniture, televisions and other items.

The first sale will be from 11 a.m. to noon Aug. 26 at the May Valley Service Center, 16430 S.E. May Valley Road in Renton. The district will sell school buses through a silent auction, and there will also be televisions for sale.

The second sale will be from 3-5 p.m. Sept. 24 at the May Valley Service Center. The first half-hour is for students only, with surplus textbooks and library books up for sale. The general public is invited to purchase a wide variety of items during the last 90 minutes.

Cash and checks are the accepted means of payment for both sales. Learn more by calling the district’s purchasing office at 837-7071.
