Two Issaquah businesses are finalists for the third annual King County Executive’s Small Business Awards.

Artitudes Design Inc. is a finalist in the Woman Small Business of the Year category, while Fox Hollow Family Farm made the cut in the Rural Small Business of the Year division.

Artitudes Design, on Northwest Mall Street, is a full-service design agency that specializes in high-quality executive presentations, branding, marketing, graphic, interactive and motion design.

Fox Hollow Family Farm, on Issaquah-Hobart Road, offers birthday parties, riding lessons and seasonal festivals that allow visitors to commune with nature while enjoying a traditional farm experience.

“I look forward to honoring the owners and employees of the small businesses that power our regional economy through innovation and plain hard work,” said King County Executive Dow Constantine.

Three finalists were named in each of seven categories. Winners will be announced at a Sept. 25 awards program, at Bellevue’s Meydenbauer Center.

The awards program recognizes small businesses throughout King County that best demonstrate innovation and excellence.
