In honor of the Washington State Parks Centennial and National Public Lands Day, the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission and SUBWAY restaurants have collaborated to launch No Family Left Inside.

The program will reward park visitors by honoring their Discover Pass in all 406 SUBWAY locations in 17 counties throughout Western Washington for the month of September.

Visit a participating store and show the pass to receive a free 6-inch sandwich with the purchase of a 6-inch sandwich of equal or greater value and a 30-ounce drink.

The Washington State Parks brochure “Adventure Awaits” will be available at all locations throughout the region.

During the 20th anniversary of National Public Lands Day Sept. 28, the Discover Pass requirement will be waived at Washington state parks.

Volunteers will plant trees, remove trash and build trails at public lands in Washington and across the nation.

SUBWAY restaurants will celebrate the day by giving away $5,000 in cash cards to the first 100 people to visit designated state parks Sept. 28.

Purchase a Discover Pass online at or by calling 866-320-9933 toll free.

They are also available in person from any of the nearly 600 recreational license vendors where state fishing and hunting licenses are sold, state parks headquarters or region offices and when you renew your vehicle license.
