Issaquah motorcyclist injured in state Route 202 accident

NEW — 12:43 p.m. Sept. 12, 2013

Timothy Wartchow, 43, of Issaquah, was transported to Harborview Medical Center after a vehicle struck his motorcycle on state Route 202 at 244th Avenue Northeast Sept. 11.

Wartchow was traveling eastbound on the road at 5:09 p.m., when he was struck by a vehicle exiting the Shell gas station, according to a news release from the Washington State Patrol.

He was ejected 30 feet and the vehicle was pushed off the roadway. The road was closed for more than three hours.

The driver and three passengers were not injured. The accident is under investigation.

    Heal up soon TIm, I hope that the driver is held accountable for the damaged they caused.
