Food & Clothing Bank to host benefit breakfast

The Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank will host an Oct. 17 benefit breakfast at Eastridge Church, 24205 S.E. Fall City Road.
Register now to help fill the shelves at the food bank that serves an average of 4,934 people per month.
The Recipe for Hope Breakfast begins at 7 a.m. James Whitfield, CEO of Leadership Eastside, will be the keynote speaker, while state Sen. Mark Mullet will emcee the event.
Funds raised at the Recipe for Hope Breakfast will support current efforts to provide healthy food options to clients and build services and programs that enrich lives, including the Summer Lunch Program and Tools for Schools.
The food bank’s service areas are the same as the Issaquah School District’s, and assists residents in Issaquah, Sammamish, Renton, Preston, Newcastle and Bellevue.
The suggested minimum donation is $100. Register to attend the breakfast at www.issaquahfoodbank.org.
