The Fire Inside Celtic band brings their energetic, Irish music to a free concert in the Issaquah Highlands at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 20 at Blakely Hall, 2550 N.E. Park Drive.

The Fire Inside has performed regionally for nearly three years, including at 20 festivals, pubs and events this year alone. As a recent feather in its cap, the band will open for the Young Dubliners at the Yachats Celtic Music Festival in November. They will also perform at the west Gilman Boulevard Starbucks and Salmon Days.

The seven-member powerhouse of jigs and reels is comprised of residents from Issaquah, Fall City, Snoqualmie, Renton and Redmond. They play traditional material alongside groundbreaking, modern Celtic songs while blending strong vocals with spirited instrumentals.

Preview their handiwork on fiddle, uilleann pipes, whistle, bodhran, guitar, mandolin and concertina at www.thefireinsideceltic.com and Facebook.

Refreshments will be served. Come early to get a good spot on the dance floor.
